Project Description:
Fire flow analysis and sprinkler design.

Project Issues:
There are several Tractor Supply stores being built across Texas, New Mexico, Utah, and Nevada. The water supply in some locations did not have adequate water supply for the sprinkler system. The developer was unaware of this issue when submitting estimates to the Owner and was losing money each time the building required a fire water storage tank and fire pump.

Solutions:
The developer hired Shaver Fire to perform a water supply analysis for multiple stores across the region at conception of the project to determine if a new fire water storage tank or fire pump was needed. In addition, Shaver Fire was selected to perform the sprinkler design on these stores. Shaver Fire sized the pumps and tanks and assisted the developer during the procurement process.
