Lindsay Shaver

President

Lindsay Shaver is the current President of Shaver Fire Engineering & Design, a leading fire protection engineering services provider. She went to Tennessee Technological University where she earned her bachelor’s and master’s degree and holds a postgraduate degree as an Education Specialist in Instructional Leadership.

Lindsay is known for her approachable and relational leadership style. Her leadership is marked by a blend of strategic vision, communication, and a deep commitment to providing exceptional service

Derrick Shaver

VICE-President

Derrick Shaver is the current Vice President of Shaver Fire Protection Engineering & Design. Derrick is a licensed Mechanical Engineer and Fire Protection Engineer. He has been an engineering lead on a variety of multi-discipline engineering and construction projects.

Derrick earned his A.S. in Pre-Engineering at Hiwassee College and his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering at Tennessee Technological University where he was a member of the baseball team at both Universities.

Derrick has extensive experience and a proven track record in his field. He’s worked at several different engineering companies throughout his career including Gowin Mechanical, Bechtel Power, Lauren Engineers, Y-12 National Security Complex, and Mesa Associates. Derrick was the only licensed Fire Protection Engineer at Mesa Associates where he was exposed to many fire protection problems that needed to be resolved.

Derrick has devoted his career to developing the skills and expertise required to be an
exceptional fire protection engineer.

Commercial properties are in a constant state of flux, from tenant turnover to repairs and remodels, we ensure that fire protection is not something you will have to worry about. Multi-Tenant Design

If you're the property owner or manager, there are many safety issues you have to address. Because of its structure and higher number of people involved, muliti-tenant housing has a higher risk of death and injury from fires than single family homes. There are steps to address these risks and we can help you identify and implement these steps.
